That was a long break. I took photographs this weekend on a beautiful family hike in the woods as is our Thanksgiving tradition and I was reminded once again how time flies.
That was then, 5 years ago, when I started blogging.
Just look at them now. *sigh*.
Yep, I'm here and facing up to the same age changes in my two. It seems almost impossible.
Lovely to 'see' you!

Hi Val...it seems silly but I definitely had a tear in my eye seeing the change :(

Still here! Lovely to see you back, Lina.
I too turn a blogging five years old in a few days. I just looked back at a photo of my tiny twosome back then, who have now become a threesome half a decade on. Funnily enough, my 9 year old just looked at your first photo and thought it was her and her brother as little ones walking in the woods!
Time really does fly.

Welcome back :o) I love that first picture and the time lapses shots are pretty cool too. Isn't it amazing how time flies. I've just sent my eldest off to uni...still can't believe it...seems like it was yesterday when I was on a school trip to Cap St. Jacques with her!

coming out of luring in the shadows to say "Glad to see you again" :) Don't look at my blog - it's been neglected too!

Time really does pass fast. But I'm still here too - even if my own before and after photos might only indicate an increase in girth, not height!
You can never really believe they are going to grow up, can you?

It's lovely to see you again Lina. I've been pondering a lot recently on how time flies especially this last week when Amy became a teenager! It does go way too quickly for comfort!

Blogging really documents our lives and the passage of time, that's one of the reasons I love it. But it's poignant too as the children grow and their need for us changes.
Good to see you back!

It's been 5 years here, too - I would never had guessed that it had been that long, 'til I saw how tiny the kids looked.

Isn't it amazing how they seem to suddenly shoot up without you noticing?
It hit me this week as Monster and I were out walking that I was talking to him on eye level and not looking down at him. We came home and did the height chart and he's half a centimetre less than me - 13 in three weeks time and in size 9 shoes!
I love how blogging enables us to document and look back on those changes :o)
Lovely to see you again, Lina.

time flies way too fast! Amazing how this time of years the leaves just tend to rain on us. Enjoy the season.
