For those of you who were interested in my scrapbook star - simply stork has found two tutorials here and here for projects that look similar.
they tunred out great - i esp. love the birdies!
now i do wish i'd signed up, but .... it's good that i didn't. :(

Luv-er-ly! Especially like the style of the birdie you created - is it drawn or embroidered? I didn't make any ornaments this year, or participate in any swaps - but I may need to next year . . .

love these: they are just the right shape & stuffed well! I did do a swap too - it was good fun coming up with a pattern - I made a little bird from a cute old table cloth - but I really should have spent the time perfecting the pattern and shape like yourself http://www.flickr.com/photos/tjoyy/2074981299/

Your heart ornaments are just adorable! I love the colors and the pretty designs stitched up so nicely! You might want to see mine - I made hearts out of old sweaters and embellished with flowers.

I love your heart ornaments.. after perfecting the heart, do you have a pattern?? I too have difficulties with hearts, but these are just too cute!
