OK, so I caved in.
A combination of mummy's excitement of having made something for the first time and a folorn little girl with a tummy ache and fever, made me give this to her last night. Instead of for her birthday next week.
She's a Ruby doll. A Ruby for my Ruby. She's been renamed Elizabeth and we've already had a request for a brother. He may have to be one of these.
she's super cute! i hope your ruby feels better soon!

That doll is darling. I keep seeing the cutest softies out in blog land. I need to get on the ball and make one too. But I highly doubt it would come out as perfect as your Ruby Doll. It looks great! Lots of great detail!

Your Ruby doll is beautiful and I'm not surprised you couldn't wait until next week to give her to your little girl. I hope she is feeling much better now - I'm sure Ruby will have helped :)
Thank you for the link too - I felt all excited and famous when I opened it up and found it was me!!! I thought 'Hey, I recognise that old dog!!'
Hope you have a lovely weekend and I look forward to seeing your sock monkey,
