My first knitting project.
So I'm a photo or two short of completion, (the story of my life!) but I'm finished with the macro project I think. Thanks to Karin at Orange Flower for organising this, I've really enjoyed the challenge but am relieved not to be on my knees shoving my camera perilously close to all manner of subjects whilst onlookers stare in bewilderment at my antics. It's also been a huge learning curve, which may result in spending my next pay packet on a proper grown up camera.
And a note to all those who unsubscribed from my blog during my month of macro photos (but I guess you're probably not reading this he he!) that's OK with me. Really, I understand how I might bore you senseless. I'm happy to admit that I really am this nerdy and dull.
Well I certainly haven't unsubscribed- I haveloved all the photos. I am also thinking about a grown-up camera, but I just don't know enough about them.

Yeah, I've been wishing that the neighbour opposite wasn't home on maternity leave right now. She probably now thinks that I spend half my time in the garden on all fours...

I've enjoyed your macro photography this month ;) I even gave it a try for several days on my own blog and learned a few things myself- it was fun.

Your first knitting project! That is so cool. You should go to ariadne knits on St-Jacques. I think that they have the best yarn in Montreal. http://www.ariadneknits.com/

Goodness, did people really unsubscribe? I've enjoyed clicking over to your pictures this month, just not moved to comment much. I too would love to hear more about what you learned. Is it based on a special lens? I know practically nothing about photography. Also, do share more about the knitting. I'd love to get started in knitting myself--if just to make slippers and hats.

huzah for nerdy, but your macro photos were certainly *not* dull! I wish I had gotten in on that project... do you know if another is planned, or was it a one-time deal?
cheers!

I've loved your photos Lina. It's great to notice the little things that we don't usually see.
At least your knees will get a rest now that it's over!
Yay for being nerdy!! You are never dull though :)

Oh, that purple yarn is so lovely! And one of these days I need a grown-up camera, too. Keep us posted if you start shopping!
