I'm joining in Anne's photo challenge this week which nicely coincides with my recent camera acquisition and the arrival of hot and humid summer.
Preschool is now officially over! The graduation (or gradulation, as my son called it) party was a picnic in the park with a clown. Our city has amazing parks compared to the ones we had where I lived in England. We'll be spending many an hour enjoying them over the next few months.
Oh, I want to swing now. Is it just because I don't like clowns, or is that clown a little scary?

That clown is definitely scary... in fact he would probably be arrested for hanging around in a kids play park if he were here in the UK! ;o)

The perfect way to pass a summer, sitting on a swing! I am looking forward to lots of summer in blogland this week - it sure doesn't feel like summer here in Scotland!

Good swinging, little one! Mine have just worked out that they can hang upside down from a swing, or twist it round and round then let go and get a whirly ride. Love it!

'Gradulation'....kids are soooo funny. When my boys were little I use to take them to Reptile world to look at the lizards and snakes...they were 3 and 5 and use to say "mama, take us to rectile world". I still laugh about it to this day. Really nice pictures.

They've been re-doing the parks in my old town back in the UK. You should see some of the ideas they've come up with - they've reinvented the slide, the swing - everything. It's nothing like the parks from my youth (is it just my memory, or were those narrow metal slides with a cage at the top a couple of stories high?? Maybe I'm remembering them like that because I was a shorty)
