Some might argue that life in the suburbs is the best of both worlds; a little bit country, a little bit rock 'n' roll. Despite living in a city (once or twice) I've always been a country girl at heart and sometimes can't help but think that surburbia is no man's land, neither here nor there, the worst of both worlds. The solution? A house in the country and a pied-a-terre in town perhaps? May be not in our budget just yet. How about Saturday downtown for brunch with a long lost friend and Sunday in the garden?
That'll do nicely.
Very nice indeed.

I enjoy aspects of both worlds as well. Sounds like a nice weekend.

That is exactly what I would like...a small cabin in the country and a studio loft in town.
If you want to swap some acorns with me I could send you fabric or make you something or whatever. I really want to make felt acorn (like 10 max.) but I can't find them in the Plateau area. Anyway, if you have extra acorns just let me know!
Take care xox

I tried to leave a comment last night, but my computer was acting up, but I wanted to tell you that I picked up the Better Homes & Garden magazine you are featured in - very nice. I really want to try making the Advent calendar.

I 100% agree with your thoughts on the suburbs. And, I've basically never lived anywhere else. Sad, isn't it? Lovely blog, I'll be stopping by more often.
