That's what I've got for you. I've tried to write a post several times this past two weeks, but I've had a case of blogger's block. Nothing seems quite post worthy somehow, even though I've plenty of things I could write about. How about starting off with breakfast? Not mine I hasten to add (for the mere whiff of a banana is enough to make me gag) but a firm favourite here, nutella and banana topped toast.
What else? I could mention about this being reposted in quite a few places lately and that I'm grateful for the steady stream of new visitors here and on flickr. Or that there's plenty of custom stockings and other crafty bits and pieces that have been made and delivered without any photographic evidence of their existance.
Or I could tell you that after almost two and a half years of living here, my almost six year old daughter's Canadian accent arrived practically overnight last week.
Perhaps I should mention that I've started a new knitting project, and that when I made a few mistakes and ploughed on regardless, in a totally uncharacteristic fashion, (for I am not at all a perfectionist) I ripped the whole thing apart and started again. Maybe I am a patient crafter after all?
Or how about I tell you that we've had our first snow fall and that I have the world's ugliest but most comfortable snow boots?
Actually what I think you really ought to know is that on Wednesday 3rd December, I'll be giving away a little something here as part of Sew Mama Sew's giveaway day. Won't you come back then dear friends?
I think I have hit a block as well. I think it might be the time of year I am trying to make sure everything is going to made and ready in time for Christmas

pink boots could never be ugly Lina!
custom stockings sound fun, I 'm currently battling with a custom apron, and I never want to see another apron again.....

Hi Lina ! Your boots can't be bad if they're comfy, that's what matters when it's cold outside ! :D
I'm burried with current projects, I don't know how I found myself with so many at the same time !!! I hope you manage to get all yours done. :)
Oooh a giveaway ... how lovely ! Maybe I should have one too. Better hurry then ! Have a great weekend !! Hugs !

I can't face a banana with a single brown spot - green, oh yes, but actually ripe? Bleurgh!
I think your boots are pretty, and I bet they're warm!

Love your post. It's the same thing with me for um, like the the last 6 months!
Glad to read your post though. :)

As far as snow is concerned, I think anything goes.... Comfort and warmth is the most important! (And... your boots aren't that bad!) I can almost hear snow sounds (you know... the creaking of new snow or the crunching of snow that has melted a little then frozen again)
Gotta go eat breakfast, that Nutella on toast is making me hungry!

that is an awful lot of nothing there!
Btw I think those boots are quite nice, sadly where I am it is more about wellies/gumboots/galoshes than snuggy, snow friendly winter boots.
See you on Wednesday :-)

And I liked your snowboots - pink footwear is always cheerful.
We're going to have a go at your candles this weekend (if I get my act together). Will show you some pics when we do.

I see snow is coming your way too - we have 3-6 inches coming! I made your advent calendar from last year and posted some pics on my blog today. Thank you for inspiring me to make one, it's going to become part of our tradition!

ah the whole Nutella thing.
I grew up on that. On everything. Sometimes just on a spoon!!!

Mmmmm... Nutella and toast. Love that stuff.

Love those two pictures, they seem to go together in my weird mind...both cozy images. I like the snowboots, really.

I did the very same thing the other day with a knitting project and actually knitted a whole glove with a small mistake at the beginning only to realise it was just too annoying and rip it back!
I am off to forage in my cupboards for some nutella now ... !
