In the spirit of Sew Mama Sew's giveaway day, if you would like to win this little prize consisting of an artsy clutch (of which I've made several this year as an alternative to gift wrap) and a set of four, hand embroidered coasters, please read how to enter below and I will draw a winner on Monday 8th December.
To make things a little more interesting, your comment MUST include a crafty challenge for me to complete after Christmas, whether it be quilting, sewing, knitting or something else - feel free to add links to tutorials or examples. Please note that I will pick a random winner (not simply the idea I like best!) and will complete the challenge by the end of February! Go on, inspire me!
Finally, if the winner is outside of North America I will do my best to get this little package to you by Christmas, but unfortunately cannot guarantee it will make it on time.
Updated 4th December. Woah! I had quite a shock when I logged on to my email yesterday evening! As a result, I'll be changing the time of the draw to midnight EST tonight!
Oh wow! I love the clutch and coasters!!!
I would like to see your take on my reversible quilted table runner, which I've posted on my blog today. :O)

Here's a challenge for you... a knit pair of socks to wear during a cold day in January!

I would like to see something that includes two elements (knit and sewing for example) If you want a specific project I will have to think on it more, but I think that would be neat to see.

Hi - just found your blog last week and I love it! You make such beautiful things. Those coasters are almost too pretty to use! Hm, let's see- after Christmas: my little girl has just started preschool so I'm just beginning to get into the whole Valentines-for-everyone thing. How about making (with fabric) 14 different valentines for 14 (imaginary) kids? I can just see your beautiful embroidery on each one already!

I just found your blog via Sew Mama Sew's Flickr group - you make beautiful things! I haven't had too much time to wander through your old postings, but by the "artsy clutch" I'm going to assume you have the Bend The Rules Sewing book.
Since I just purchased this book myself I'd be interested to see your take on one of the projects in it.. how about the vintage apron with apple pockets? It looks so cute!

First, your handiwork is just gorgeous. Second, I will be bookmarking this post for more craft ideas. I like the way you think.
Third, my craft challenge for you is to make a cloche-ish hat.
This tutorial is great. I just made two hats for my sister and niece using the free pattern on the site. (Word of caution: the pattern as posted will fit a 5 year old or an adult with a teeny head. That's why I ended up making two!) I'll be featuring the hats I made on an upcoming post on my blog if at some point you want to check out some more examples (insert shameless plug for my new blog here: craftymamaliving.blogspot.com!).

What a lovely giveaway - I love the combination of red and blue. I was going to challenge you to learn how to knit socks, but someone beat me to it! Ok, how about some nice cozy wrist warmers - popping up everywhere in blogland at the moment. Then hopefully the socks won't seem so daunting!
