Hello.  I've had a good break.  So good in fact that I'm thinking that I might just wind up this little blogging adventure and move on.  It's been almost two years...and although this little space has brought me a great deal of pleasure during that time, I feel the need to regroup and focus on other areas of my life.  Maybe it's a transition thing (my youngest starts kindergarten next week) but I've yet to make any firm decision on the matter.  No doubt sporadic posting will ensue before my typepad account is up for renewal (in a couple of weeks).

Hi Lina, some wonderful moments of Summer you've captured there. I get the same feelings about blogging every so often, but have never had the conviction to walk away.

I'll miss you, but I'll completely understand - when it gets to be a chore it seems a bit less of a good use of time. All the best with whatever you decide to do.

My youngest is off to school next week too. She's very excited. I'm not sure I am!

I totally hear where you are with your blog right now and a need to focus elsewhere. It happened to me last year and I was away from my blog for 8 months or so. Eventually came back but usually when my life needs focus elsewhere, the blog is the first thing to go.

Do what you have to do. :)

Totally understand how you feel and am grateful to have found what you have posted to this point! Might be worth it to set up a "place-keeper" blog using a free service. You could provide a link to the new blog on your final post on the typepad blog. You know, just in case you want to start up again someday. Then we'd be able to find you.

No pressure of course! Enjoy the summer--it doesn't officially end until Sept 21....

I haven't blogged all summer (barely been on the computer), but I think people should be used to me being a lazy blogger by now - I just post now and then, whenever I feel like it. I know I'll be back in a week or so. So don't forget the lazy blogger option in your decision...

Hi Lina - lovely photos as always! I hope you don't decide to give up blogging as it is fun "knowing" you - but then again I fully understand why you might want to walk away. Sometimes it just becomes too much and I think there can be a point where it just seems like a natural place to stop.
