Day seven :: Apple pie smoothie
Ingredients: 2 apples, peeled, chopped and cored, 1 cup apple juice, 1 cup low fat evaporated milk, 1/2 cup of plain yogurt, 1 teaspoon brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinamon, 2 tablespoons of oatmeal and a pinch of nutmeg. (Serves 4)
The verdict: 3 out of 4 testers gave this an A plus. It really did taste like apple pie, and would make a great alternative to hot chocolate, served warm on a winter's day.
Thank you for all your smoothie appreciation this week, my blender is having a well earned rest for a few days! For more smoothie ideas visit:

Wow! Thanks for sharing all of these smoothie ideas - when I think of making a smoothie, all that ever comes to mind is yogurt, milk, and a banana or some strawberries. Now I can branch out a bit, starting with this one - yum!
