Inspired by this Nini Makes tutorial, I made this little vase earlier this year. We have lots of trees in our back garden and an endless supply of fallen twigs and branches, so this was a perfect green project with absolutely no purchase necessary. My kind of crafting.
I have seen similar ideas using hot glue, but I prefer the idea of holding everything together with twine.
I maybe getting a little ahead of myself here, but I'm thinking the children could make this pretty easily and they'd make wondeful gifts, embellished with some red ribbon and planted wih paperwhites for Christmas.
I think that's a lovely idea for Christmas! Lucy x

Oh don't mention Christmas yet...
Maybe I should start my kids trawling for twigs now, though.

It's gorgeous Lina! I love the colour of your branches too. So easy aren't they? my eight year old made one with no problem at all.

it's so beautiful - twine definitely trumps the glue gun.

Cool! I'm so going to try this. We had a great intro to fall here but now it's raining buckets so we need some indoor activities. Thanks for the inspiration!
