well done - the decorations look lovely. Our halls are still bare but the decorating will begin in earnest this weekend! Enjoy your lovely festive and sparkly home in the run up to christmas.

Ours too - though just about!

We have a 12 day rule which steams from my mother - I think.

Twelve days before and twelve days after makes for a very lucky forthcoming year.....apparently. I can't say I've noticed a difference to be honest, but then again we are always there abouts - maybe I need to be a bit more precise.

Beautiful decking - in a decoration sense.

Ready for the tree There is a random rule in our house which means not putting up the Christmas tree or any other decorations for that matter until 2 weeks before the big day. I'm not sure where it came from but the tree...

Teacher gifts 2010 (why reinvent the wheel?) These were so easy and such a hit last year, and, because the children have new teachers, we made cookies in a jar again as Christmas gifts. Using the exact same recipe as last time too. What's not to love?...
