After
We've been painting our bedroom. It's taken over four years to get around to it and it's the final room to be decorated by us. Between work (I'm now contracting part-time from home) and general other busyness, progress has been a bit slow. Dark wood trim and closet doors have taken so much paint that I can no longer remember how many coats I've slathered on...but it's almost there. The most exciting part was painting stripes this weekend. Tearing off the masking tape to reveal this subtle effect was the instant gratification needed to motivate me to finish the room off this week.
Just one more final coat on the trim to go.
turned out great! that's what i want to do to my laundry room!

Very easy to do, it takes far longer for the taping than the actual painting! I was actually thinking of zig zags but figuring out the math part made my head hurt :)!

I think it might take more than 4 years to get around to doing our bedroom which will be the last thing to decorate ~ it is the lowest priority...

There I was thinking you had striped your wall green - and I liked how it looked too! But the real stripes are beautiful!! Lucy xx

You did great in your wall. I also have this striped wall on my hallway to the rooms upstairs. I love stripes!

It's so simple yet very eye catching. I love it, Lina. I'll absolutely apply it.
